Order Policies & Terms

Nohli calculators are custom built electronic devices assembled in small quantities using preowned calculators and additional electronic components. They are not new, factory sealed, or mass produced retail products.

Texas Instruments has discontinued the TI-84 Plus, so Nohli units come from a rotating pool of restored stock. Keypad print color, shell finish, and minor cosmetic markings may vary between batches and cannot be selected.

Nohli is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially associated with Texas Instruments, TI-84, OpenAI, or any other third-party brand referenced on this website. Third-party brand names are used only for identification and reference.

Because the original calculators are used, units may show normal cosmetic wear, including scratches, marks, discoloration, or other signs of previous use. A unit may occasionally have a small screen or pixel imperfection that does not interfere with normal operation. Cosmetic wear that does not affect functionality is not considered a defect.

Each calculator requires significant time and labor to assemble, configure, and test. Every unit is individually tested before shipping.

Nohli calculators use custom hardware, custom software, WiFi connectivity, and remote AI processing. This technology is experimental and may not perform exactly the same in every situation.

Response quality, accuracy, processing time, connectivity, and battery life may vary. Batteries are not included with any Nohli calculator. Occasional troubleshooting, repeated attempts, software reconfiguration, or assistance from support may be required.

These devices should not be treated as traditional mass produced consumer electronics that are guaranteed to operate identically under every condition.

AI generated responses are not guaranteed to be completely accurate. Performance may vary depending on the subject, problem difficulty, image quality, lighting, camera positioning, WiFi stability, remote AI availability, and how clearly the question is entered or photographed.

Incorrect answers, incomplete explanations, slower responses, or the need to submit a question again are not automatically considered product defects. Buyers should independently verify important answers.

Orders normally require up to one week for assembly, configuration, testing, and fulfillment before shipping.

During periods of high order volume, fulfillment may require up to one and a half weeks. Shipping time begins only after the order has been completed and transferred to the carrier.

Requests for faster fulfillment do not guarantee that an order will be completed sooner.

Delivery dates displayed during checkout are estimates and are not guaranteed. Nohli is not responsible for delays caused by the shipping carrier, weather, customs, incorrect addresses, or other circumstances outside of our control.

The buyer is responsible for entering a complete and accurate shipping address. Address changes cannot be guaranteed after assembly or fulfillment has begun.

Customers must use their real name, a real email address, a reachable phone number, and a complete address at checkout, including apartment, suite, unit, floor, building, or access details when applicable. Orders using fake names, fake contact information, unreachable phone numbers, or incomplete address details may be canceled before fulfillment at Nohli's discretion.

The calculator requires a stable WiFi connection. Most customers use a phone hotspot because many school, hotel, workplace, and public WiFi networks require a browser sign in page that the calculator cannot access.

Nohli calculators work best with iPhone personal hotspots. Android hotspots and some carrier hotspot configurations may be less reliable, harder to configure, or incompatible depending on the device, carrier, settings, and network conditions.

The buyer is responsible for having access to a compatible WiFi connection or phone hotspot. Inability to connect to a restricted, unsupported, or unreliable network is not considered a product defect.

Batteries and battery chargers are not included with any Nohli calculator. Buyers must purchase compatible batteries and a compatible AAA rechargeable battery charger separately before setup.

For expected battery performance, Nohli recommends Wenjoop Rechargeable AAA Batteries, 16 Pack, 1100 mAh High Capacity NiMH AAA Rechargeable Batteries, Long Lasting 1.2V Low Self Discharge High Performance Triple AAA Batteries.

Other compatible 1.2V AAA NiMH rechargeable batteries may work, but battery life and performance may vary. The Wenjoop batteries are recommended because they are the batteries used during testing.

Rechargeable AAA NiMH batteries must be charged with a compatible charger and used together as a matched set. Do not top up one battery by itself, mix freshly charged batteries with partly drained batteries, or combine old and new batteries in the same device. In a series battery pack, the device is limited by the weakest cell. If one cell drains before the others, it may be damaged further and cause sharply reduced runtime.

If a battery set begins lasting much less than expected, replace the full set with a fresh matched set. Charging can restore charge, but it cannot restore lost battery capacity after a cell has been damaged by repeated deep discharge or improper use. A compatible AAA rechargeable battery charger is required for normal use, and a battery voltage meter may help confirm charge state.

Do not use 1.5V AAA batteries. Damage or malfunctions caused by incompatible voltage, leaking batteries, incorrect installation, improper charging, missing or incompatible chargers, or unsupported battery types are considered user caused damage and are not covered by the defect resolution policy.

Remove one battery when the calculator is not being used to fully disconnect power.

Expected continuous battery life is around one and a half hours for the Camera Calculator. This estimate is not guaranteed and may vary depending on battery condition, charging habits, charger compatibility, usage, WiFi activity, and device configuration.

Customers are required to use their own API key with the calculator. Nohli no longer permits customer use of a shared or private Nohli API key because private keys were accessed and misused for projects outside of the calculator, creating security concerns and additional costs.

The buyer must create their own API key, add funds or credits to it, and enter that API key into the setup portal shown in the tutorial. If the API key has no available funds or credits, the calculator may not work properly and may display a no credits remaining error.

The hotspot name, hotspot password, and API key are separate setup steps. All required information must be entered exactly as shown in the tutorial for the calculator to work correctly.

The setup tutorial is sent by email after purchase, so it is important to enter a real email address at checkout and check your inbox, spam folder, and messages from Nohli. The tutorial explains how to install the required customer-supplied batteries, use a compatible AAA rechargeable battery charger, charge batteries together as one set, connect the calculator to WiFi, enter the required API key, use the device, and complete the required setup.

Additional instructions may explain how to update the WiFi name, WiFi password, or API key. The buyer is responsible for watching the tutorial and following the setup steps carefully.

The buyer must watch the full tutorial carefully before using the device or requesting technical support.

The buyer is responsible for purchasing compatible batteries, purchasing a compatible AAA rechargeable battery charger, charging and installing batteries correctly, connecting to supported WiFi, entering the correct network information, creating and funding their own API key, maintaining any required API configuration, following the provided tutorial, and avoiding unsupported changes.

Most setup problems can be resolved by carefully following the tutorial and cooperating with support.

Opening, rewiring, reprogramming, modifying, disassembling, or attempting to repair the device without written authorization may make the device ineligible for a return, replacement, or refund when the modification caused or contributed to the problem.

This does not limit any rights that cannot legally be waived.

Nohli does not provide, license, sell, disclose, or distribute its source code, firmware source, private API keys, internal configuration files, build files, or proprietary setup materials.

Software updates, troubleshooting, and repair support are handled only through official support channels at Nohli's discretion. Requests for code access, custom firmware files, private keys, or internal project files will be declined.

Unsupported software changes, deleted files, altered settings, or attempts to reverse engineer or modify the device may make the device ineligible for support, return, replacement, or refund consideration to the extent permitted by law.

Customers must contact support using the same email address entered during checkout and include the date of purchase, product, full name listed on the order, shipping address, and a clear description of the issue.

Support is available only to the original purchaser and verified owner named on the order. Before support is offered, Nohli may require order proof, owner proof, the checkout email address, the full name on the order, or other reasonable verification details.

A customer may not transfer support access to a friend, classmate, family member, buyer, or other third party by lending, giving away, reselling, or otherwise transferring the device. If an original purchaser gives or sells the product to another person, the original purchaser is responsible for giving that person access to the tutorial and setup materials. Nohli may refuse support to anyone who cannot be verified as the original purchaser.

The Nohli Discord community may be used for general questions, but Discord messages are not considered official support requests unless Nohli specifically directs the customer to use Discord.

Support response times may vary. Nohli will make a reasonable effort to assist customers and resolve legitimate technical issues.

Customers must provide a real full name, a real email address, a real reachable phone number, and a complete shipping address when placing an order. Apartment, suite, unit, floor, building, or access details must be included when applicable.

If Nohli believes the name, email address, phone number, or address provided at checkout is fake, inaccurate, incomplete, or unusable, or if Nohli needs to contact the customer about the product or order and cannot reasonably reach them using the information provided, the order may be canceled.

This requirement helps prevent fulfillment problems, support delays, delivery issues, and orders placed with false or unreachable contact information.

Before purchasing, buyers are responsible for reviewing the complete product description, device limitations, battery requirements, WiFi requirements, product condition, fulfillment estimate, Shipping Policy, and Returns & Repairs page.

Buyers should contact support@nohli.com before purchasing if they are uncertain about compatibility, functionality, or setup requirements. For order-specific questions after purchase, include the date of purchase, product, full name on the order, shipping address, and checkout email.

Nohli is not responsible for misuse of the device or for use that violates school rules, testing policies, institutional guidelines, or local regulations.

Any unauthorized use during an exam or assessment is solely the responsibility of the user.

By completing a purchase, the buyer confirms that the calculator is custom built using a preowned device, is not factory new or mass produced, may show cosmetic wear, uses experimental technology, requires buyer setup, compatible WiFi, the buyer's own funded API key, compatible rechargeable batteries, and a compatible AAA rechargeable battery charger, may produce varying AI results, does not include batteries or a charger, and must be used with compatible batteries and charger purchased separately by the buyer.

The buyer also agrees to review the separate Shipping Policy and Returns & Repairs page for shipping, return, refund, replacement, inspection, and repair terms.
