5 Mega Pixel Camera Calculator w/ChatGPT

The 5MP Camera Calculator is the upgraded camera model, built with a higher quality five megapixel sensor, autofocus, and a wide lens that gives noticeably clearer and sharper images than the 2MP version. When you press TAKE IMAGE, the ESP32 S3 captures the picture as a binary JPEG since it cannot reliably store or send large raw image files, then converts that JPEG to base64 so it can be sent as ASCII text through JSON to OpenAI, where it is decoded back into the original image for processing. The higher resolution sensor allows the code to take better advantage of settings like saturation, sharpness, denoise, frame size, contrast, white balance, brightness, and auto exposure, giving you cleaner and more accurate results compared to the two megapixel option. Functionally it works the same as the 2MP model, but the quality jump is immediate: press TAKE IMAGE, hold still for a moment, and you get a clearer response thanks to the improved camera. 

When you first receive it, you put rechargeable AAA batteries and keep one battery popped out when not in use to fully shut off power to the microcontroller. Also you need a wifi network.
